NEUROLOGY
Neurological physiotherapy involves the treatment of people with movement and function problems originating from problems within the body’s nervous and neuromuscular system. People with neurological conditions commonly experience muscle weakness or lack of control, difficulties with balance and coordination, muscle spasm and tremors, loss of function and decreased sensation.
We understand that getting back to the activities you enjoy the is a priority for you. Our experienced Physiotherapists are here to help. We work in many different areas of neurological physiotherapy and are able to provide individualised rehabilitation for people within the community, and in hospital.
Neurological physiotherapy treatment may include hands-on therapies, advice and coaching, a tailored and supported exercise prescription and a home exercise program. Some people with neurological conditions have complex needs, and require specialised equipment – your Physiotherapist can support you and your family, referring you to other appropriate services and organisations when and if required.
We provide services to people with a range of funding sources – public, private, NDIS (self managed) and other payers.
